This initiative seeks to increase access to finance for innovative, knowledge-based small, micro and medium enterprises (SMMEs) and projects, especially those operating in the bio-innovation sector. The programme supports innovation-driven ventures working on solutions that can contribute to economic growth and technological advancement.
Funding and Support Details
Through the TIHMC Start-Up Support Programme 2026, selected applicants will receive financial assistance to help scale their innovations and business operations.
- Funding Amount: R51,000 to R300,000 per project per year
- Duration: Up to three years of support based on project performance and need
