Busha and Beauty Hut Africa Award ₦6 Million to Female Beauty Founders in Nigeria

Busha , in collaboration with Beauty Hut Africa, has provided ₦6 million in equity-free funding to three female-led beauty businesses in Nigeria. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen women-led entrepreneurship in one of the country’s fastest-growing industries.

The funding was awarded during the second edition of the Beauty Hut Africa Women’s Grant Initiative, which concluded with a live pitch event at the Ecobank Pan-African Centre.

Five shortlisted founders presented their business models to a panel of industry experts, focusing on innovation, scalability, and market relevance. The event served as both a funding opportunity and a platform for visibility within Nigeria’s beauty ecosystem.

At the end of the session, Inveo Labs secured the top position, followed by Tulivu Fragrance and SavedSkin Cosmeceuticals. The selected startups received funding to scale operations, improve product development, and strengthen their market presence.

For the winners, the grant goes beyond financial support. It provides access to industry exposure, validation, and opportunities to refine their business models in a competitive market.

Nigeria continues to emerge as a strong hub for female entrepreneurship, particularly within the beauty sector. Growth in consumer demand, digital commerce, and global interest in African products is creating new opportunities for founders.
