Program Overview
The Awesome Foundation supports bold ideas through small grants funded by volunteers who believe that meaningful change can start small.
The Conservation and Climate Program focuses on hands-on environmental action, especially ideas that are creative, fast-moving, and often overlooked by larger funders.
Rather than long-term projects, the program looks for ideas that are close to implementation and can show visible results in a short time.
Focus Areas
Projects should relate to one or more of the following areas:
- Wildlife conservation, including protection of species and habitats
- Habitat protection, restoration, or preservation
- Climate change solutions, focused on mitigation or adaptation
- Ecotourism, using sustainable, nature-based approaches
- Environmental communication, such as education, storytelling, or awareness
What matters most is not the size of the project, but the clarity of the idea and its potential impact.

Who Can Apply
You may apply if you are:
- An individual with a clear, actionable idea
- Part of a small team ready to implement a project
- Able to receive funds through PayPal, Wise, or Venmo
Projects should be ready to move forward soon after funding is received.
