Call for Applications: Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants (£85,000 for Joint Green Entrepreneurship Projects)

Deadline: 17/11/2025

Higher education  and TVET institutions, training providers and NGOs can now apply for the Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants.

Grants of £50,000 to £85,000 are available for partnerships between the UK and Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico or Viet Nam.

The grants will fund collaborations that deliver structured, industry-aligned opportunities for young people to gain green work experience and/or green entrepreneurship experience.

Funding can be used to establish new collaborations, or develop existing links, between HEIs, TVET institutions, training providers, and NGOs with a focus on longer term sustainability.

The grants should enable young people both in the UK and the partner country to undertake opportunities.

Partners will work together to build:

  • Strategic partnerships between UK institutions and local organisations in partner countries focused on green work pathways and skills gaps
  • Co-designed and delivered green work experience or training for young people (18-30) in the UK and partner country
  • Mutual knowledge exchange, capacity building and sustained engagement between partners.

Organisations from the UK and 1 other Climate Skills delivery country (Brazil, Mexico, India, Indonesia or Viet Nam) will be required to submit a joint application. Each collaboration should support capacity strengthening of each partner organisation, while stimulating longer-term interactions between the two countries.

Eligibility

The call will accept joint proposals from one lead UK institution and one lead partner country institution. Additional organisations may be included as part of a consortium.

Full eligibility details are given in the Application Guidance, and the Country Annex (included in the guidance) explains eligibility, budget and focus within each country.
