RCCG Equips 200+ Entrepreneurs with AI and Digital Skills in Lagos

More than 200 young people and small business owners in Lagos have gained practical digital skills through a recent training initiative organised by RCCG Christ The Lord Parish, Lekki. The programme focused on artificial intelligence and online business tools that enable participants to create income and scale operations in a digital-first economy.

The training formed part of the church’s broader empowerment efforts aimed at strengthening livelihoods through relevant, market-driven skills.

The three-day programme delivered practical sessions designed to help participants translate digital knowledge into income opportunities. Rather than theory, the focus was on execution and usability.

Participants were trained to:

  • Create and publish digital content using AI tools
  • Produce and edit videos for online platforms
  • Build and grow monetisable YouTube channels
  • Access global freelance opportunities

This approach ensured that attendees left with skills they could immediately apply.

The training was facilitated by the Fish For Life Foundation, bringing international expertise into a local setting. The collaboration enhanced the quality of instruction and ensured exposure to globally relevant digital practices.

By focusing on practical digital skills and real income opportunities, RCCG Christ The Lord Parish has delivered a programme that goes beyond training. It equips participants with tools to compete, earn, and grow within a rapidly evolving digital economy.
