TikTok and the International Chamber of Commerce have launched the Digital Commerce Labs programme to support small businesses in Nigeria and other emerging markets.
The initiative is designed to help micro, small, and medium enterprises strengthen their digital presence, improve online sales strategies, and access wider markets. It combines TikTok’s commerce tools with the ICC’s global trade expertise to deliver practical training for entrepreneurs.
In Nigeria, the programme is being implemented with support from the National Information Technology Development Agency and the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund. These partners will provide mentorship, training sessions, and capacity-building support tailored to local businesses.

The Digital Commerce Labs will run through a hybrid format, including online courses, virtual workshops, and community-based learning. Participants will also have access to expert-led sessions and certification opportunities.
According to organisers, the goal is to help small businesses move beyond visibility and build sustainable income through digital platforms. The programme is expected to expand across multiple regions, with Nigeria positioned as a key focus market.
